Dale has been involved in the construction industry for 11 years, starting his career as a Quality Control inspector. He achieved his level 2 SAIW certification and was appointed as Quality Assurance Manager of a local construction company.
Dale has a Management degree and was appointed to the board as Operations Director
Marc has over a decades experience in the field of Logistics for the Mining and Industrial manufacturing sectors. His international experience has led to his
direct involvement in all aspects of construction – be they strategic, commercial or operational.
He ensures that every project is of the highest quality and completed with precise measure. For the last four years, Marc has served as the Commercial Director for a South African based construction company.
Zama is a registered business accountant, a member of South African Institute of Business Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree. Zama has strong financial management background in the financial services, construction and professional services industries. She specialises in profit development, revenue, cash, asset and risk management.
She manages the finance team and is highly analytical and passionate about accounting and service delivery .
Vernon Jansen is a trade-tested Boilermaker with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. His extensive career has spanned both on-site operations and workshop environments, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of fabrication and erection of structural steel and platework from the ground up.
Vernon joined MDL Engineering in 2018 as Workshop Manager, where he quickly established himself as a dependable and solutions-driven leader. Through his dedication, technical insight, and unwavering work ethic, he has become an integral member of the business, contributing significantly to operational excellence and team development.His long-standing industry experience, combined with his mentorship of younger artisans and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards, continues to strengthen MDL Engineering’s reputation for reliability and superior craftsmanship.
Erwin Jackson brings nearly 17 years of industry experience, with over 15 years specialising in quality assurance, quality control, and inspection. Erwin holds a SAIW Senior Inspector Level 2 qualification, is accredited with the International Institute of Welding (IIW-S), and is a multi-discipline NDT Technician certified in MT2, PT2, VT, and RT. In addition, he is a trade-tested Mechanical Fitter with a Red Seal certification, giving him both practical hands-on expertise and advanced inspection competence.
He joined MDL Engineering in 2017 as an Inspector and quickly progressed to the role of QA/QC Manager through his work ethic and high performance. In this capacity, Erwin has led QA & QC team to essure MDL's adherence to industry standards, regulatory compliance, and client specifications. Erwin plays a critical role in maintaining MDL Engineering’s reputation for excellence & reliability and for delivering projects to the highest quality standards.
